We are located in Torrance, California, are an Equal Opportunity Employer, and seek an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company which distributes globally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via phone calls and emails

  • Communicate with existing and past customers to generate new leads

  • Make outgoing sales calls. Transition leads through first point of contact to ultimate sale

  • Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities

  • Create strategic call plans to support sales activities

  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and requests for information

  • Manage new client and current client relationships

  • Provide superior customer service to increase sales opportunities

  • Maintain a CRM database of current and potential customers

  • Provide timely response to customer inquiries on product pricing, lead time, technical performance and/or order status

  • Work closely with various internal departments to fulfill client s needs

  • Establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent is preferred


  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience

  • Collaborative problem solving with multiple departments to resolve disputes and pending orders, and time delays

  • Understanding of sales and performance metrics

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship management, negotiation, and diplomacy; excellent judgement and integrity

  • Formal sales training preferred but not essential

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in high-volume production, organization, and task management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • CRM, ERP, B2B Sales Experience

Additional Information

70k base pay and up to 100k with commission

What does the interview process entail?

If you’ve applied online and been contacted for an interview, a Recruiter will then meet with you in person or virtually to review your job history, skill strengths, education and career goals to determine what type of clients and/or positions you’d be right for.

How long does the interview take?

Each interview is unique to the individual but can typically last 10-20 minutes. To facilitate the process of getting started, we ask that you please fill out the entire application online before coming in for your interview.

What happens after our interview?

After the entire interview process is complete, we actively search for positions that best suit your needs and skills. In addition, we recommend that you call your local branch weekly when you’re available for assignments.

How should I dress?

Your appearance will be critically important in your job search. First impressions are important when interviewing in our office, virtually or at the client site. Dress requirements for each assignment will be addressed with you prior to your start date and will typically mirror the company’s dress code policy. To this effect, your Recruiter will define what appropriate means in advance of any job.

Am I allowed to work with other employment agencies as well?

You do not need to work exclusively with Newegg Staffing while you are signed on with us. However, we do ask that you keep us posted whenever you’re available so that we can keep you working continuously.
