3 month project :

  • Perform top quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

  • Work independently while communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and departments in a timely and professional manner.

Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to improve product availability and internal workflow to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks

  • Processes requisitions for supplies, researches products, clarifies specifications, and documents competitive bidding, enter purchase orders

  • Maintains an up-to-date filing system on pricing and vendors to ensure immediate and accurate access to information

  • Searches out alternate vendors or supplies during periods of shortages or stock outs

  • Knowledge of basic typing skills with emphasis on accuracy, legal aspects of purchasing, and basic purchasing terminology

  • Deployment of Purchase orders based on MRP demand and inventory levels including maintaining purchased orders

  • Follow up on back orders, expedite delivery of orders, when necessary, communicate expected delivery to departments and update information into the system. Report key delivery issues to Supply Chain Manager

  • Manage time to ensure tasks are completed on schedule

Qualifications (Education | Certification | Experience)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening)

  • General PC skills with MS Office software knowledge at basic / intermediate / advanced level

  • Specific software or technical skills

  • 2 years of Planning experience

  • Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with customers and coworkers

  • Ability to create and maintain record retention and retrieval systems appropriate for position

What does the interview process entail?

How long does the interview take?

Each interview is unique to the individual but can typically last 10-20 minutes. To facilitate the process of getting started, we ask that you please fill out the entire application online before coming in for your interview.

What happens after our interview?

After the entire interview process is complete, we actively search for positions that best suit your needs and skills. In addition, we recommend that you call your local branch weekly when you’re available for assignments.

How should I dress?

Your appearance will be critically important in your job search. First impressions are important when interviewing in our office, virtually or at the client site. Dress requirements for each assignment will be addressed with you prior to your start date and will typically mirror the company’s dress code policy. To this effect, your Recruiter will define what appropriate means in advance of any job.

Am I allowed to work with other employment agencies as well?

You do not need to work exclusively with Newegg Staffing while you are signed on with us. However, we do ask that you keep us posted whenever you’re available so that we can keep you working continuously.

How soon after joining Newegg Staffing can I expect to be working?
