Job Description

About:

Our Client is the pioneer and leading manufacturer of solvent cements, primers, and cleaners for PVC, CPVC, ABS and other plastic piping systems. Their products are globally recognized as the premium products for joining plastic pipes and fittings and are used by professional installers around the world in a variety of applications such as, but not limited to, construction (residential & commercial), industrial (chemical process, water treatment, mining, etc.), irrigation (landscaping & agricultural) and others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process inspection & process audits on the Depalletizing, Mixing, Production Filling, Case Packing Lines.

  • Perform receiving inspection of packaging materials

  • Record findings, immediately notifies Production & QC Leads on any issues affecting product quality.

  • Closely coordinates with QC / Production/ Shipping & Receiving Teams to identify, isolate, account, collect samples and report non-conforming materials and products.

  • Perform dispositions as directed by the Material Review Board.

  • Performs basic IR, Viscosity, and other QC testing

  • Maintains the Retain Sample Library which includes cataloguing, storing and retrieval of samples.

  • Inputs daily quality data and archives QC batch/packaging records in both soft and hard copy format

  • Ensures that the latest ISO9000 related documents are available at their point of use.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Skills Technical (Required & Preferred)

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Experience in distinguishing conforming and non-conforming product

Skills Interpersonal (Required)

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to identify inefficiencies and drive rigor to the process

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 20lbs maximum, Prolonged standing

Years of Experience (Required & Preferred)

6+ months of experience working in a manufacturing environment

1+ years of experience working in QC line inspection

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour

What does the interview process entail?

How long does the interview take?
