Job Description



  • High volume telephone and email contact with existing customers; no cold calls

  • Understand customer needs and match with product, solicit sales, accept and process estimates and orders

  • Following up prior contact, opportunities and estimates

  • Escalation to sales department for any difficult or special sale

  • Escalation to customer service department for any issue or service need

  • Enter notes into CRM and update customer information for each engagement

  • Work from daily call schedule of assigned customers

  • Assist in investigating and resolving customer complaints by working with your support team

  • Assist in territory planning, reporting and forecasting

  • Work with Sales, Marketing and Product Management for continual product and market training

  • Work with Sales Management on continue skills training

  • Maintain a cheerful, professional attitude in calls and emails



  • Experience in CRM systems and practices required, such as Oracle NetSuite, SalesForce or SAP

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, Outlook; Teams is a plus)

  • Experience with high volume call centers for sales orders and general support

  • Experience reading prior customer notes and sales history, and factoring that into customer engagement

  • Must have strong data entry skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and friendly speaking voice.

  • At least 1-2 years experience with high volume customer engagement of sales related communications

  • Call center experience preferred but not required

  • B2B customer engagement preferred but not required; no retail sales

  • Support of technical products preferred but not required

  • Enthusiastic and positive with excellent multitasking skills

What should I bring with me to the initial interview?

What does the interview process entail?

If you’ve applied online and been contacted for an interview, a Recruiter will then meet with you in person or virtually to review your job history, skill strengths, education and career goals to determine what type of clients and/or positions you’d be right for.

How long does the interview take?

Each interview is unique to the individual but can typically last 10-20 minutes. To facilitate the process of getting started, we ask that you please fill out the entire application online before coming in for your interview.

What happens after our interview?

After the entire interview process is complete, we actively search for positions that best suit your needs and skills. In addition, we recommend that you call your local branch weekly when you’re available for assignments.

How should I dress?

Your appearance will be critically important in your job search. First impressions are important when interviewing in our office, virtually or at the client site. Dress requirements for each assignment will be addressed with you prior to your start date and will typically mirror the company’s dress code policy. To this effect, your Recruiter will define what appropriate means in advance of any job.

Am I allowed to work with other employment agencies as well?

You do not need to work exclusively with Newegg Staffing while you are signed on with us. However, we do ask that you keep us posted whenever you’re available so that we can keep you working continuously.

How soon after joining Newegg Staffing can I expect to be working?
